Application of cleaning agents and disinfectants are legally stipulated according to a determined time scheme. The goal is to elimination of infection-relevant germs with standardized,
quantifiable proof of effect for prevention of nosocomial infections.
Active hygienic measures are disinfection, sterilization and the employment of disposal or non- returnable products. Insofar as sterilisation is possible, the sequence “disinfect-clean-sterilise” is to be observed with instrument to be reused again. Vat, spray and wipe methods are utilized for the disinfection of instruments. But vat disinfection is generally preferred.
Field of application:
The drill bath is suitable for cleaning and disinfection of dental drills and any kind of rotating instrument.
Type of preparation:
This is a highly effective and cleaning-active, ready-to-use combination for the dentistry filed with extensive spectrum of activity against bacteria, fungi (Candida albicans) and enveloped viruses. The preparation contains effective corrosion protection and biodegradable.
It can be disposed of diluted with normal wastewater.
Application references:
The drill bath is a ready-to-use solution which is applied undiluted.
Place drill in the solution immediately after use. All >b>surfaces to be disinfected must be completely covered by the solution. There should be no cavities or bubbles. Replace regularly, depending on the degree of soiling.
It is recommended to change the ready-to-use solution daily. Allow to take effect for at least 5 minutes. After completion of the exposure time, thoroughly rinse the drill with water and dry. The water should have at least drinking-water quality.
